From Friday, November 14 through Sunday, November 16, Union Market - the vibrant district in Northeast DC – will host Fifth Street Folly, a weekend-long street party. The weekend will feature several signature fashion and food-oriented gatherings throughout the district; the market's free Thread series, Bluejacket’s first ever pop-up beer garden, the ticketed Gilt Sample Sale and the EmporiYUM food festival.

Join The Huxley for our Two Year Anniversary bash on November 15th, 2014 for an evening of dancing, live entertainment, costumed performers and plenty of surprises! Dress to impress and make sure to arrive early; guests will be treated to a complimentary champagne open bar from 10pm - 12am!

Monday, November 17: DC Cocktail Week begins on Monday, November 17 and runs through November 23. For one price (varies by restaurant), participants will get a specialty cocktail perfectly paired with a delicious bite. Over 55 DC-area restaurants are participating, and the parings range from Casa Luca’s “La Volpe” (the fox), which is a twist on a rye old-fashioned made with Jamon Iberico infused mount Gay spiced rum, Whistle Pig Rye, Orange and Angostura bitters and finished with an amarena cherry and flamed lemon peel paired with a picolette of stracciatella with heirloom beets, apple butter, and roasted walnuts ($15) to Rural Society’s Fernet con Coca, their version of an Argentine “Fernando” cocktail with Italian aperitif Fernet Branca, Tuaca, muddled brandied cherry and lime, vanilla-chili sugar and Coca-Cola paired with a house-made Morcilla Sausage on Grilled Focaccia with sun-dried tomato escabeche and micro parsley.
